As a cockatiel bird owner, I know first hand that once you fall in love with a bird you became one of those people. For everyone who loves cockatiels we always are looking for the best for our birds. It always shocks me how surprised people are when they meet your cockatiel bird to find that he/she is so loveable. Numerous people say “I need one of these” after they get to know your sweet bird. Most people think…dog, cat, and if they are exotic enough they think fish or turtle. But a Cockatiel or any parrot far surpasses in social skills any of these traditional pets.
