Place a box in with them a big box. If they lay eggs it will be around 10 days after mating. They will hatch if fertile around 21 days depending on how warm or cool it is in the room they are kept. But I can tell you from experience quaker babies won't be heard crying for food until around 3 weeks old. I suggest setting them up to breed then only fooling with them to change their food and water and to clean their cage up, never looking into the box. The longer you leave them alone the more babies and faster they will have. All in all around 3 months after the mating takes place to leave them alone. Once you hear the babies crying for food from their parents it will be safe to take the babies for hand feeding.

Quakers are known to break the eggs or kill babies if bothered too much during breeding. So be careful to remember to leave them alone. And good luck!
References :
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/Pals4PetsPals4Pets/

First you'd need to know if you have a male and female. Next their age would be good to know too. Usually a good age for quakers to breed is 18 months. Quakers lay anywhere up to 7 eggs in a clutch (usually around 5 is common), and they hatch after 24 days. The female will lay one egg every other day, and start to incubate after the second or third egg is laid.
References :
Our flock:
3 quakers
3 eclectus
2 conures
1 indian ringneck
lot's of parrotlets!

Parrotlets are one of the quieter birds. I recently got a parrotlet, and a big part of the appeal is that they're pretty much incapable of screeching as loud as many other birds. My last roommate had a budgie, and he'd screech so loud, the noise would go out her window and come in mine, and come through the walls.

I will say that my parrotlet can get a bit chattery, especially when he want attention, and will get a little loud every now and then, but most of the time it's just quiet chatter and chirps--never shrieking or screaming. I live in apartments, so a noisy bird would be a problem, but he's quieter than most of the birds I hear outside.

I did a ton of research on birds before choosing one, and I definitely recommend a parrotlet. They're playful, social, intelligent, small, cute as heck, quiet, and relatively easy to care for--and they can learn to speak. The one important thing to consider though is that they need LOTS of attention and interaction. They consider themselves a part of the family and demand to be treated as such.
References :
military macaws are LOUD african grays have tiny sweet voices, quakers are a medium volume (not too annoying)... bronze-winged parrot are quiet to medium noise,

maximillions are real quiet
eclectus parrots are really quiet and very pretty

cockatiels would be a good compromise
References :
lived with over 500 birds as a kid (breeder)

if you dont know anything about cockatiels, then you shouldnt have gone out and got them in the first place.

give them to a shelter where they can find a proper home.
References :
i have a cockatiel. when mine makes noise its usually because he wants attention. if you dont have alot of toys in the cage try getting some more toys. and if you can make sure to set aside time to let them out of their cages. of course they need fresh food and water every day but they also need baths. so what i do it put my sink on warm and very low and put my bird in the sink and also spray him with a water bottle. also if they are making noise at night you can put a blanket over the cage or move them to a dark room with no noise such as a bathroom or guest room
