they are awesome birds! I have 3 and have never regretted it. they are so much fun to play with and do the funniest things. One of my tiels loves to cuddle. they are messy, but it's no big deal. there is a lot you need to know before you get one. do a lot of research there's a lot of info out there. here are some links which helped me and still help me with my birds.

How cockatiel birds breed?

The male stands on the females back and they rub their vents together

I have a 2 month old cockatiel in a rather large cage that looks bigger enough for more than one bird. What birds can live with my 'tiel? Or is my best bet just to buy another 'tiel? I was wondering because when summer is over I have to go to school and don't want him to be lonely.

I would get another cockatiel, they get along great together and you might end up with a male and female that will breed and give you more cockatiels…

If you could tell its name and give a little description that will be awsome! Thanks

Ohh I love the cinnamon aswell. I also love white faces. They're blackish grey andwhite.. So they're kind of plain but there is something about them that makes them so beautiful. They're more expensive than most breeds though.

I have 4 of them and one died a few days ago. I dont know anything about them. and they all been making soooooo much noise lately.

i have a cockatiel. when mine makes noise its usually because he wants attention. if you dont have alot of toys in the cage try getting some more toys. and if you can make sure to set aside time to let them out of their cages. of course they need fresh food and water every day but they also need baths. so what i do it put my sink on warm and very low and put my bird in the sink and also spray him with a water bottle. also if they are making noise at night you can put a blanket over the cage or move them to a dark room with no noise such as a bathroom or guest room
